HCS Annual Conference
Our multi-day flagship summit, hosted in partnership with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, convenes over 3,000 entertainment and media professionals from 65+ countries, both in person in Los Angeles and online.
Over the past 5 years, HCS has engaged more than 30,000 professionals and 7,000 companies across 65 countries, harnessing the power of culture to accelerate climate action while prioritizing joy and connection. We've faciliteated connections between climate leaders from corporate sustainability, government, nonprofits, science, and education with the media sector spanning film, TV, social media, journalism, games, sports, and marketing.

Our Community Network
Our community is a cross-sector network of professionals who care about our cultural response to climate. From film executives, TV writers, marketing professionals to game developers, journalists, and fashion designers. They join to build new relationships; deepen their understanding of climate; find new opportunities or partnerships; create content; eat amazing food; and shift the climate narrative from doom and despair to possibility and agency.
We're also a global community. In 2024, 49% of all virtual attendees joined from outside the United States from 63 different countries.
